I would like to point out that I am in no way involved in Premier Inn, E.L.D.C, Skegness council, or have any business interest or financial interest in whether the plans are accepted or not.
I am retired and disabled and so would not gain employment from Premier Inn or KFC.
I am just a Skegness local, who has seen business people use the town and the councils for their own benefit for many decades, and I am simply interested in seeing the other sides opinion, because only the hoteliers side has been heard, and reported in the papers.
If this petition gains enough signatures, I would be passing the details onto E.L.D.C prior to the vote.

I am currently reaching out to local planning board members to make sure your views are officially logged before the final vote happens. its well and truly needed! The people who are saying no are the people who are scared of a decent hotel coming to the town, meaning that they will need to upgrade their poor excuse of a b&b
would love a premier inn as it would bring an all year round job prospect to skegness instead of seasonal. which would mean all year round trade for skegness
surely people know what to expect with a premier in if you come to the sea side expecting a bnb then book a bnb it will surely bring more people to skegness and creating more jobs for the locals, the winters are long and boring so being in work is an advantage and still having people being aplenty visit is a plus.
On the basis that Premier Inn do not want to build anywhere else in Skegness, I am in favour of them buying the Pier Field and building there.
This is only my personal opinion. I am not a business man. But I think it would create a little competition on fairer pricei g to get visitors to return to Skegness. As we need to get in the modern world of holidaying.
