Petition for a skatepark in Blackbird Leys, Oxford. We previously had a skatepark, but a nursery was built over it. The council have promised us money for a new skatepark however they will not actually buid it unless we prove that it is wanted. At the moment young people in Blackbird Leys have nothing to do- young people have told me that they have been catching trains to London and Banbury just to skate- this is not acceptable! Young people need facilities, need something to do to keep them off the streets. Sign the petition!
