Honestly this is a good idea there is a lot of kids skating on private property and getting in trouble if we had a skatepark it would decrease the chance if kids getting in trouble.
That allows BMX also

Nice idea there is nowhere to skate in this dumb town
I just started back sk8 I don't have friends that do sk8 here... I'm from California and don't know where to sk8 at with thought getting 12 called on me... where can I sk8 at...

I feel like it would be easier to have Texarkana fund an outside skate park. A place basically skate at your own risk, outside, no employees necessary, you don't need a pro shop and you don't need refreshments. This would cut way back on cost because the city is not going to fund an all out business, but it may fund a park.
