The city of Fredericksburg, Texas, does not have a skatepark. Our only one was torn down a couple of years ago, leaving no place for the skateboarders to skate without the risk of being ticketed or having their skateboards confiscated. The local skateboarders are tired of this, and would like to have a new skatepark built. Having a skatepark in our town would virtually eliminate the problem of skateboarding in restricted areas, and would attract out-of-town skateboarders and their families. With people visiting to skate the skatepark, money from the visitors would be pumped back into the city's revenue. Please sign this petition if you support having a skatepark built in Fredericksburg.
