I was just looking at the map and realized how much space we actually have behind the rec center if the council would just wake up and listen. The numbers are climbing which is honestly wild to watch while I try to figure out how to frame the pitch for the meeting. If we keep this momentum going and get to that next milestone it might actually force their hand so please send the link around to anyone who might care.

We are crawling toward that first hundred and it feels like the momentum is finally building even if I am still waiting for the council to actually pick up my calls. If you know anyone else in Harleston who wants a spot to ride instead of just dirt tracks please get them to click the button because hitting this milestone makes it impossible for them to keep pretending we do not exist.

My son has been apart of establishing s skatepark in harleston since he was 10 he is 20 this year. The outdoor gym was a complete waste of time, money and effort. Give the kids what they need please!!!
The Eaton park, Norwich one is great...Diss skatepark not so good as made from tarmac...needs to be a concrete bowl like Eaton park..the kids love it but Norwich is a long way to drive when you live in Harleston!!
A skate park would be brilliant in harleston it would give the kids more to do as there is nothing there, and they are building a lot more houses which means a bigger population.
We NEED a skatepark in Harleston. I'm a skateboarder and learning BMX skills. In Harleston we have literally no where to go, if we get a skatepark i'm sure more people will come to Harleston and it'll get kids off the streets.
A few of us kids have been threatened to get an asbo if we don't stop riding scooters around but we have nowhere to ride this would solve our problem
I wanna get involved and get a skatepark in harleston cause I go to my grandparents who live there quite often and I always bring my scooter cause I wanna keep doing what I’m doing but they always have to take me to different parks near by so it would really help me and them out so much thanks

My son would love it if we could have a skatepark locally instead of trekking to Diss or Norwich. I'm sure he would use it every day as would many others. Great for skills, fitness and socially; meeting others with the same interest.
