Within the past few years, i have noticed an increasing number of kids in the Warwick and Warrington areas riding freestyle bmx or skateboarding. A skatepark would keep us riders out of public areas such as Valley Square in Warrington, or any area where there is good terrain to ride. Warwick has so many baseball fields. The average maintenance cost for one field in a 10 year period is $570,000, which could buy a nice skatepark that would rarely need maintenance. I see riders getting kicked out of places all the time. In the modern age, more kids are into these more extreme activities, rather than playing baseball or any other sport where your not constantly moving or up high in the air. Such a park would also get kids more into skateboarding or bmx riding instead of going and doing drugs or drinking alcohol.
