The focus now shifts to finding the right permanent head teacher to lead our school forward. Governors are currently reviewing candidates so please check the school website for official updates on that search.

The council has officially confirmed our school will stay open because of the pressure you helped us build. Now we need to ensure the board selects the right head teacher to lead us forward. Email your local councillor today to demand full transparency during the final hiring stage.

Best news ever! My kids love this school and I was so worried about them having to move. Glad the council finally came to their senses.
Wonderful news for all the families involved. This school is the heart of the area and keeping it open is the right choice.
Great news for the community. SJV is a brilliant school and it would have been a massive mistake to shut it down.
So relieved. Now lets get a good headteacher in place and keep moving forward.
