My own kids have grown up in these halls and I refuse to let them be turned out before a new building is ready. We are nearly at our goal of one hundred signatures so please send this link to anyone who values our current school community.

My children attended st marks in the 80s and 90s it was an excellent school. My grandchildren now attend and im appalled at the total disregard towards their education. This appears to be a financial decision which everyone accepts and understands however the management of it is very poor
my aunties and uncles and i went to this school its part of the community and is a fantatastic school i have some brilliant memories from here where really supportive when my best friend died when we went to st marks and helped me through my grieve.
Stop the imalgamation until there is the funding to build a new school, in all this please remember it's the children of St marks that are going to be most affected by the upheaval and disruption of moving schools which could have a detrimental effect on their education. "The welfare of the child is paramount"
There are significantly more pupils of St. Mark's than St. Luke's. Have you ever asked yourself why minister? What's the hurry? Why upset the majority of children? Why not leave it be until the new school's ready? Why????
As a parent, I am angry at how we have been misled with regards to a new build for the amalgamated school, which according to John O'Dowd's comments in the Irish news last week, is no longer guaranteed. Our children deserve better!

Love this school , came from a family of 5 and we all went to this school and have all done well would be a shame for it to close after all theses yrs . We have to think of the kids from the area !!

There was no consultation, I Information regarding the amalgamation was sparse and misleading,The well being and needs of the children of St Marks seem to have been forgotten. St Marks Primary School should not be closed until they have the new School that was promised.
