Our Simpson PTA needs your help! We have a proposal that addresses some safety concerns outside our front doors. Some solutions to our safety concerns include: widening the front sidewalk and adding a border of some sort between the sidewalk and the road; adding a gathering area for parents to pick up their children; adding a handicap accessible ramp; removing street parking across from our front playground; adding official "School Zone" signs and street markings; and adding several lamp posts along the sidewalk.

We will be meeting with the Harrison County Board of Education and Bridgeport City Council to discuss these concerns. It will help our case if we showed applicable government leaders and personnel that parents, grandparents, and community members support our vision. If you agree that these issues should be addressed to increase the safety of our students, and HAVE NOT YET ALREADY DONE SO, please sign the petition and spread the word.
