Shouldn't it be just as easy to recycle as it is to dispose of trash? Yes!

The Problem:

Trash containers are always within short reach of apartment buildings, but many times recycling containers are not within walking distance. This makes recycling very inconvenient for the majority of residents. Due to this, countless recyclables are trashed every day.

The Change:

Having one recycling receptacle next to each trash container in all Blacksburg apartment complexes.

What Signing This Petition Does:

By signing this petition, you are saying that you support the idea of having one recycling receptacle to trash container in Blacksburg apartment complexes. This petition will be sent to the Blacksburg Town Council to bring light to the change that needs to happen.

We want to make disposing of recyclables just as easy as disposing of trash for all members of the Blacksburg community, including Virginia Tech students. Every signature helps bring recycling closer to you...literally!
