No to the $10 voucher. The state sucks us dry with all the other sticker we must have. Alter our vehicles to meet sound standards and spark arresrer. will this ever end. we just want to have fun with family and friends but like always. if it is fun in the state of Michigan they want more money.

If it's necessary to do something like this the proceeds should go to preserve the DUNES! Companies like the one running the voucher system have VERY HIGH profit margins. Please do your research!!!

We try and make it up to the dunes as often as possible in season. These fees would mean we'd go a lot less. We're already spending double what we did in 2014 with the new "trail" sticker on each vehicle! This would double those fees EACH WEEKEND we make it up.

I like to go at times as a spur of the moment type thing if I have a day off work. I know not to go on holiday weekends because it's so busy.

Would be nice to have some real details. So far It's pay 10.00 and see if you can get lucky on a decent time with an online voucher lotto. Internet and phone service are spotty, What are the times gonna be? How many vouchers will be available. If I drive across state to hit the dunes, I should be happy if all I can get is a 3p.m. voucher? I will not go. Why would anyone plan a whole weekend or holiday on a a "maybe we'll get a good time"
Let's find a Michigan company to do this if we have to do it . Let's see the terms of the contract so we know how much is coming pack to the PARK. Not just the state and the operations company. What's the cut? Voucher com0pany 95%-State of Mi 5% ? Then what EXACTLY will that money be used for ?Next thing we know they will be taking the state money and reappropriating those funds like they are trying to do with the sales tax money on gas, to fix our roads......and the school systems lose. For all we know, someone knows someone that has a company that would benefit from doing this.
How about this; find a company to do it for free for awhile so we don't have to pay another 10.00 for an unguaranteed time voucher. That way we can see how well it works before implementing and charging for it. After all, someone must be very confident about this solution to bring it this far. So a dry run would be great for a season or two to prove this idea's worth. I mean if someone is so confident that this is a surefire fix, then they should be quite confident in proving it and the system will sell itself. Right? This way we can weed out the maybe's, the what if's, the how's, the symantec's.....
