Can't believe that the DNR would go for this since they will be getting no money from it and it can't cost that much to run a website.

The survey was deceitful... I agree the system should be for Holiday weekends only! It's not about the money for us, we spend almost every weekend there. I do not want to not be able to go because I couldn't get online and print a voucher the second they become available . It is ridiculous. Especially for the local people who have homes there! Completely unfair to them as well!

Nothing like trying to ruin a good weekend thing. For anyone who heads up there multiple times with multiple vehicles and days will be the ones who are greatly impacted by this. Is it there goal to scare away all of the people who pour money into the community on something other than a holiday?

I think if you pay taxes there there (having a lot or cabin) then you should get a special sticker for the year that allows you to use the dunes whenever you want. No more waiting with tourists to use the dunes that is your primary get away spot.

I love to go to silver lake and yes even though it is sometimes a pain to have wait tovget a voucher it is still better than having to print one off and pay 10 dollars. The state already charges an arm and a leg for orv stickers and now trail stickers. They need to stop charging us for every little thing that they can think of.

Wish they would just expandn the dunes. There is 2,000 acres. Only 450 for ORVs. Why not split it? 1,000 for ORVs and 1,000 for the walkers. Should be plenty for both. Not to mention, a bigger area to ride would more likely be more safer on busy weekends. Everybody knows how crazy it is on holidays, too many people flyin around. Also more money i have to spend to get into the dunes, the less money i have to spend at local bussiness.
