I think this is unfair to all of your regular Duners! My family owns a seasonal in silver lake and we have gone every other, if not every weekend. This is going to be very costly for us having 2 razors, and a jeep. I agree something needs to be done, but charging money for a park we already paid for with all our stickers is not right.

what ever happened to this being a family place ive been going there since I was at least 1. its an addiction to go there but its fun in many ways. there has got to be another way to be able to solve this issue. last labor day I waiting in line for 18 hrs. so much for family time and Now they want to charge an extra $10 per day to get in I'm not opposed to it but there's gotta be restrictions to how it is handled. just like many things is the person in charge of it going to be some random hodgee or someone who actually has been there and gone through what ppl have. I think mostly they need to find a better way to get everyone in different entrance for dune ready ppl and one for parking lot would be a good start but how many times has it occured that once u get to the gate you have to wait on ppl who are stuck in the entrance and the line is backed up. there should be a line for when ubare dune ready you pull up to the gate they check a voucher yup ur good not 3 chexkpoints. dune ready should be dune ready. make the Orv a mandatory for dune ready no stickers you aren't dune ready. I could go on for days about this stuff just they need to get something figured out that isn't gonna screw everyone out of going in the end.

The state of Michigan has pretty much killed the tourism of a beautiful area. If the state has employees doing this job now shy do we have to pay a company to do it and pay more for the vouchers. Is the state going to eliminate theese positions and employees? This means we should get a small deduction on our state taxes. What happened to the excess of money the governer said we had at the beginning of the year that they didn't know what to do with?

This is horrible, I don't have a printer in my 5th wheel, we barely get internet, let alone phone service up at silver lake, this is just insane! Terrible idea!!!

its going to be a bigger mess to deal with, and I for one being a land owner at silverlake wont. e coming up as much or using the dunes. that includes friends and family that come up.
