My family and I enjoy the dunes every other weekend during the season and yes the voucher line is crazy on the holidays only if the DNR is truly interested in making the voucher system easier they should be concerned about holiday weekends NOT every weekend then the cost could be much lower like $1 if there was a fee at all

Your making it too costly to be a family friendly vacation spot . We spend a week at a time in Mears and usually go into the dunes about an hour or so a day. It's almost too expensive now. I believe it would hurt to overall economic state of the entire area. It will stop people from visiting. It would only benefit the individuals that come up late on Friday night for the weekend.
