This is disturbing on many, many levels. I have vegan children and thought they would be exposed to a school that teaches this as a home economics class is beyond words.

If a bunch of baby humans were stolen from their moms, given to another species children to "raise" and then chopped up for dinner... all in an institution for education, what does that say about the society? Well just think about it.

Please make a vegetarian or a different soup! let these ducks be free or set them into a pond or something. Teach the children about letting go.

Now we are living in a world where there are quick results and fast changes, due to development of technologies. However, as human beings, our utmost focus should be on compassion, love, and harmonic relationship with other living beings around us. And we should not forget this, even when we are blinded by temptations.

It's absurd to kill animals for the pure reason of pleasure, they should be respected and this is downright irresponsible. Especially teaching kids it's alright to do so!

If you can't keep them somewhere over the summer, don't get them. They are living beings, not toys to throw away. Teaching kids to love an animal then killing them and cooking them up is really sick and twisted and should not be something kids are exposed to in school.
