I am signing this petition to signify that I am in direct opposition to the recent airline transportation ban on legally harvested animals. The decision to take a blanket approach to the transportation of these animals is an inappropriate response and fails to distinguish between the trade and transportation of legally acquired wildlife specimens, and the illegal trade in wildlife specimens.

Hunting-related tourism is a primary source of funding for wildlife agencies and personnel, anti-poaching efforts, habitat preservation and species enrichment. Impairing the transport of legally harvested animals will cause a drastic reduction in consumer travel and thus a critical source of conservation support. In the end, transportation bans will directly affect the future of wildlife and economies on a local and global level.

CITES is an international agreement between governments, already in place to oversee international trade in specimens of selected species and to apply certain controls to oversee the transportation of these species.

As a consumer of the services you provide, I strongly urge you to reverse the decision to ban the transportation of legally harvested animals. If you do not, this policy decision will weigh heavily on my choice of future airline providers and I will encourage all of my contacts to make the same consideration.

The momentum is undeniable. This level of support proves the airlines can no longer ignore our position.

Seems like the airlines have no idea how conservation funding works. Legal hunters are the biggest donors to wildlife protection.

This is just bad policy. Hunters pay for the conservation efforts that keep these species alive in the first place. You are hurting the wrong people.

THEY ARE LITERALLY KILLING CONSERVATION FUNDING WITH THIS MOVE. UNBELIEVABLE.

My husband and I have been booking with you for years but if this stays I am taking my business elsewhere. Do the right thing and reverse this.

Get a grip. If its legal to hunt it should be legal to transport. Simple as that.

Totally ridiculous. Keeping a trophy from a legal hunt is not the same as poaching. Stop punishing people who follow the law.
