we got the official word that the funding is locked in and the minto gym is officially happening. i cant believe we pulled this off but the demand you showed really forced them to take us seriously. keep an eye out for construction updates because we are just getting started.

To answer some of your questions: We are in the very early Preliminary stages of seeing if we can make this happen! The gym will be designed as a modern facility. It will serve both men and women with an intent to get the youth involved in fitness as well. We will have a kids corner for busy moms and dads and offer many classes as well. The structure of the will be much like those in the city. There will be different memberships to suit your needs and we are hoping to make a huge impact on this wonderful, little town. We are doing EVERYTHING we can to make it happen. Banks want you to jump through hoops and government grants are seemingly impossible to find. We are going to try our hardest and part of the effort is obtaining signatures to make sure the demand is there. Help us make this happen and keep it going!!!!

We must make it co-ed and a real gym. Being the former operator of the previous gym in Minto I seen where two different gyms, (one male, the other female), was a constant battle where neither side wins. That said the aforementioned gym must be equipped with professional equipment capable of withstanding large amounts of weight and abuse or it will not last.
Would be nice if don't have to drive to salmon Creek everyday and a place with equipment don't break down every other day
Please do this. A gym is a very common request in Minto. It would be exciting to see 2 young people take this on and I know you would fo a fabulous job.
This would be a great addition and positive thing for Minto residents, especially the youth. Keep people healthy and active!
We could all benefit from a 1st class gym in Minto young and old.I've going to a great gym in Florida this winter and there are people of all ages and televisions you can watch with earphones rigged up from the piece of equipment you're on .It's FANTASTIC...

I would love to have a gym in minto with working full time and being a very person minto it's hard to get to town or to the outskirts of town to go to the gym!
