Please sign this petition to get a sidewalk put in ASAP for the East side of Brock, south of Taunton, in Whitby, Ontario. This area is far to busy, and with anyone trying to walk to Brock and Taunton to shop, bank, gym, etc. it's near impossible to cross Brock now, with it being so busy. Walking along east side of Brock along gravel pit is not safe, especially with a stroller or small children. The Town of Whitby should be encouraging people who live so close to Brock & Taunton to be able to walk to the shops, rather than having to drive to a place that is 2 minutes away. That would cut down on car traffic. The Town of Whitby has said it's in the scope, but not planned until 2017. Please sign this petition to see if we can get it put in sooner than later. Our community needs this!
