Since the May 24 massacre, thousands of innocent people who demanded for their basic rights are imprisoned on wrong charges that make a mockery of justice. Sidama farmers, students, politicians, professionals and business people are targeted and persecuted by government security forces. Since injustice somewhere is injustice everywhere, it is the duty of conscionable people throughout the World to oppose inhuman and unacceptable practices of Ethiopian government.
To do this:
Join our campaign to demand the freedom of innocent Sidama people. Sign Petition. Write letters to world leaders. Inform humanitarian organisations.

The government is ignoring our demands but the international community is beginning to take note of these unlawful detentions. Call your local representative today and demand they pressure government officials for the immediate release of these prisoners. Post this petition link on Facebook and tag your national leader so they cannot ignore the facts.

We hit a real turning point today and the attention on these detainees is growing rapidly. Post the petition link to your Facebook page immediately and text three friends to demand they add their names. We need to keep this pressure on the government until every one of these people is released.

So much corruption. How can they just lock up thousands of innocent people and get away with it? It makes me sick.
