Throughout the Village of Southampton illegal demolitions have occurred for a variety of reasons for years. However, the village's common codes do not contain any consequences for builders, owners, and architects for those demolitions that occur illegally rather than as a result of neglect, fire, or natural disaster. By signing this petition I declare myself to be a village resident who strongly desires the Board of Trustees of the Village of Southampton immediately implement penalties that will prevent these occurrences in the future.
