The Panhandle Bar in downtown Anchorage is blight on the community and a nexus for the drug trade.
Nightly the staff of the Panhandle will serve alcoholic beverages until their clientele can't even walk to turn the primarily homeless drunkards loose on the rest of downtown. There are nearly nightly fights, and watching for any length of time and one will witness a hard drug transaction.
It's time the people stood up to the ownership and had the mayors office revoke the liquor license of this depraved establishment.
Our city is taking a slide for the worst, and it's time we did something to make out community livable again.
Let's start with the Panhandle.
Too many drunks come out of this bar arguing and doing drugs and picking fights and causing problems. Too many homeless people come out of that bar drunk and fall asleep across the Street in front of several local businesses and when they awake they're angry and harass the tourists and other good citizens of Anchorage. Shut this bar down.
