We the residents of Rising Sun Avenue and the surrounding areas, hereby request that Keta’s Lounge be closed immediately as it is a public nuisance and serves to decrease the safety of the surrounding neighborhoods. We specifically lobby to have the following behavior ceased: 1- Loud and excessive parties advertised on Facebook and Twitter thereby increasing the amount of traffic to the neighborhood during off hours, 2- Serving intoxicated minors and others, 3- The sale of controlled substances including marijuana and pills, 4- All Male Revues, 5- Rowdy crowds and fighting, and 6- Extended hours beyond the 2am legal time limit and other unruly, unwanted behavior. We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to close Keta’s Lounge, located at 6412-6414 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111. We have tried numerous other routes i.e. contacting the local police, the PA Liquor Control Board, and the District Attorney’s Office but no one has listened to our pleas and the summer is coming, so the expectation is that the behavior will continue as well as increase. PLEASE HELP OUR NEIGHBORHOOD! WE ARE TAX PAYERS AND WE DO NOT DESERVE THIS!
