The Republicans in Congress are threatening to shut down the government on September 30th unless the government stops providing funds to Planned Parenthood.
The US Government spends 0.01% of the Federal Budget on funding to Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood does not use any of that money for abortion services, it is illegal for them to do so.
The last time the Republicans shut down the government it cost us $25 Billion dollars and 140,000 jobs.
We, the undersigned, pledge to not go to work if and when the Republicans shut down the government, for the duration of the government shutdown.

I do not have the words to describe the absolute frustration the Republicans are putting Americans through. You are not representing your constituency, nor Americans in General. This is not a game for us. This is our country. Shutting it down is not your option . It is the plan of a petulant child with no sense of Community, Civics, or Rational of any kind. As an American I can only share my disgust for the people causing this to happen.
These days should also be tax free for the people! If you don't work, neither do we, and your funding will be cut off for the duration! No pay for you tools as well!
Repubs, how many of the women in your lives have: 1) used contraceptives, 2) had a pap smear, 3) has or had cervical cancer, 4) had or has breast cancer or 5) died from 1 of these cancers. Since abortion services are such a very small % of services, they aren't worth mentioning here. However, if your daughter, grandaughter, or paramour, you could privately and secretly pay a doctor to do what needs to be done to preserve your good name.
Shutting down the government because they cannot stop legislating women's bodies is NOT what the American public wants!
Stop this madness! Women do not need a bunch of high paid politicians dictating to them!
Shut the Goliath mutha down!

It's absolutely ridiculous to shut down the government! We need a more educated and productive congress in the White House!
