Sign up to be a part of the Energy Up! & Food Day 2012 Shocktober Sugary Drink Challenge! This five-day nationwide in-school health and wellness campaign takes place during the week leading up to Halloween, October 22- 26, 2012. The programs goal is to educate students, teachers and faculty about the harmful health impact of Sugar Sweetened Beverages (SBB’s) and to empower them to choose healthy beverage alternatives like water. By signing this pledge, you agree to forgo Sugar Sweetened Beverages (SSB) for five days (10/22-10/26) and promote awareness of the dangerous effects of sugar, eliminate Sugar Sweetened Beverages from school and after-care menu, participate in more physical activity, and drink more water.
