Petition to Loch Lloyd South HOA Board: Immediately Suspend All Legal Action Involving the Board of Trustees and Developer, and Survey Community Support Before Resuming Any Legal Action
To the Loch Lloyd South Homeowners Association Board,
We, the undersigned residents of this community, petition the SHOA Board to immediately suspend all pending legal actions relating to the Board of Trustees and the Developer. We request that the Board provide the community with more information and schedule a community-wide vote regarding the pursuit of these matters. As community members, we believe it is crucial to have a voice in decisions that significantly impact our shared resources, especially the finances collected and distributed by the SHOA on our behalf. As stewards of our community, the Board must be fully transparent in all financial matters and ensure that their actions represent the entire community.
We are concerned about the current legal proceedings and their potential financial implications for all homeowners. We believe that a community vote is essential to ensure transparency and accountability in these decisions.
Therefore, we propose the following actions:
- Immediate Pause of Legal Actions: We request that the SHOA Board immediately halt all pending lawsuits until a community-wide vote can be held.
- Scheduling a Community Vote: We request that the HOA Board schedule a meeting within 30 days to discuss and vote on the continuation of the pending legal actions, as they relate to the Board of Trustees and the Developer. This meeting should be properly announced to all residents with sufficient notice.
- Provision of Information: Prior to a vote, the SHOA Board should give all homeowners an itemized and detailed summary of all legal actions against the Loch Lloyd Board of Trustees and the Developer. This includes a full accounting of all legal fees to date, and an estimate of potential future costs and associated risks and benefits. This information should be presented in a clear and concise manner that is easy for all homeowners to understand.
We believe that a community vote will ensure that the decisions made by the SHOA Board reflect the will of the majority of homeowners. We urge the SHOA Board to consider our request and take prompt action to address our concerns.

The past few weeks have been exhausting as I dig through the financial records and try to get straight answers from the board. It is becoming clear that they have no intention of volunteering transparency without a fight, but I am not walking away from this yet.

Finally someone said it. The board needs to slow down and listen to the people actually paying the bills here.
Stop wasting our dues on lawyers! We have no say in anything the board does lately and its really frustrating to watch our money just vanish.
Total misrepresentation by our board outside of their elected responsibilities.
THANK YOU for taking the lead on this! I am so tired of the SHOA aggressive stance on everything without considering what the SHOA homeowners actually want.
Such commitments of HOA funds to legal actions that impact ALL of us is insane and certainly being done without resident's discussion and vote. We voted on gate funding why is this different. Must stop
