I have been hearing from so many of you about why this matters so much for our county and honestly the conversations are getting pretty intense. I am trying to organize all these notes before I head to the board office again because they really need to see that we are not going to just walk away if they remain silent.

I really never thought this would gain this much steam when I typed it up at my kitchen table but here we are and it just feels like things are actually starting to move now. It is wild to see so many people who live around here genuinely tuning in and wanting the same thing so I guess I better get my notes ready for when I finally stand in front of the board.

I believe our 2nd amendment is under attack. I would hope all law abiding gun owners in Shiawassee county will sign this petition. It is our duty to protect what the founding fathers put in place.
Our 2nd Amendment cannot be bargained away. This amendment is The Sentry which stands guard over all our other rights and responsibilities. God Bless & Lead our county commissioners in their deliberations over our appeal.
Sad that WethePeople have to resort to asking for 2A Sanctuary Counties when County Sheriff should already be protecting our Rights in general.
We stand United to protect our 2nd Amendment in Shiawassee County. Proud 25 year resident.
We need to know that our duly elected officials support our rights and stand behind the constitution of the United States which constrains the government from taking away and encroaching on our rights
I firm believer in the 2nd for many reasons but mostly to protect myself from a corrupt Big Brother
Hopefully the commissioners will support this endeavor to save0 article 2. Our nation's security is on the line.

I was born & raised in Shiawassee County & know that there are thousands of sportsmen, hunters. veterans & patriotic citizen who live & work here. Join with like-minded patriots from all over the state by adopting 2nd Amendment Sanctuary status for our residents, to insure our Constitutional rights to keep our guns, & protect our families are not infringed upon.
