We the People of Chesterfield County do hereby endorse and support the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors to hear, adopt and enact a resolution in support of every citizen living in Chesterfield to maintain its Second Amendment (2A) Constitutional rights. It is lour expectation as citizens of a free Republic that our local government hear our unified voice and place a Gun Sanctuary Resolution on the official agenda of the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors and open up engagement with our community through a public comment period so that citizens of Chesterfield County< Va make speak to the will of the People. The government generates its power from the People not Richmond and the People wish to have a sanctuary resolution voted upon by the County that would send a message to Richmond that Chesterfield County stands for the U.S. Constitution.

I support the adoption of a sanctuary resolution, although symbolic in nature, to prevent our local law enforcement from a potential confiscation order.
My family has called Chesterfield County home since the 1930's. Please don't let the vocal minority in Richmond and Northern Virginia destroy this beautiful county we all live in.
The right to arms is a HUMAN right. We're all in favor of human rights here in Chesterfield, I hope. Our police chief and sheriff support the citizens in this. Let's make it unanimous.
Over seventy counties have already issued similar resolutions. Are they really going to cut funding it deploy the National Guard to three fourths of their constituency? We need to stand up and refuse to accept laws that so viciously attack law abiding citizens.
I believe this county should be able to uphold and honor the constitutional rights we law abiding citizens are given. Criminals will always find a way to break the law. It is up to our law enforcement officers and our community to stand together to protect our county and keep it safe.
The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance
