The Second Amendment was added to the Constitution to give the citizens the right to keep an abusive government from usurping the Bill of Rights. Self-protection for all individuals is a God given right, not a government edict that can be rescinded. Augusta Co BoS, respect your constituents and do the right thing by enacting this resolution.
Show the liberals of NoVa and Tidewater that we are NOT ruled by them and that the citizens of Augusta County are not their subject and still have a voice.
Please protect our right. Our ancestors fought for our country and our rights-don’t let their selfless acts be for nothing.
I’m not a gun owner but grew up around them. If we don’t fight this, it’s just another right that we are giving away
I swore an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States of America and that will never change.

I will not be at the meeting this evening, unfortunately. I ask you uphold my constitutional right and allow myself and others the freedoms the founders on our Country spelled out. Thank you
