Sherrill Lindsey worked at Woodland as a BIT (also helping with academic interventions) when Toni was our Assistant Principal. She was thorough, fair, intelligent, respectful, and she showed great leadership skills beyond her role. She assisted teachers in culturally reposive methods, and kept race at the forefront of our conversations. She currently works as an assistant principal at Earle Brown Elementary. By signing this petition, you can demonstrate your support for Sherrill and urge our school board to seriously consider her as a strong candidate for Woodland’s next principal
Sherrill is a great leader and hard worker. She was often the first person in the building and last person to leave when she worked at WD as the BIT. She has high expectations for all students and she works to ensure all students are successful. I believe Sherrill would be the type of leader Woodland needs.
