Bedford County needs to step up and make it easier to report and take these animals away from those that dont care about their welfare. Lets also pass a law that if we know of an animal being neglected we have a way to rescue it, not wait until they freeze or starve to death.

It’s time we do something for animals living terrible lives. A crappy dog house, a little food, and maybe some water is no way to live. Being on a chain constantly outdoors no matter the weather is no way to live. It’s time someone with the ability to make a change steps up for the least of these and keeps people who have no business having animals from being “pet” owners. If you see an animal living in conditions you (or your own pet) wouldn’t live in, don’t just turn a blind eye and consider their conditions “good enough.”

Our animals and pets are just as important to us as family! Animal control centers sometimes aren’t kept clean or taking care of these animals like they need.
