It's a no brainer . No new Jail. Do not waste taxpayers money by building a new jail.

i can't even believe they're considering this jail, it makes zero sense from any angle, and the fact that there hasn't even been a study to examine it just shows that they know it and don't want to be confronted with the facts.

Frankly astounded at the lack of consideration given to any number of alternative methods of modernizing the existing facility given the actual resources available already at hand and the obvious original engineering firm's evaluation. I am a past Director of a Greene County Agency.

I oppose the bond for $51.4 million dollars for a new jail in Greene County. I am in favor of exploring sharing a jail with Columbia County to share the cost of a jail.

$51 million is far too much debt to burden tax payers with. I believe you can build a much smaller facility and don't incarcerate people for petty crimes.

That we don’t need. Fund ATI, Alternatives To Incarceration, overhaul the Sherriff’s office, redeploy the COs, fix the Sheriff’s Office (in situ), fire Michael Spitz - now.

Share the jail with Columbia County and use the money to build a hospital!! "Shared Services" is hallmark of the Governor's future State plans to save money. Unfortunately Greene County shares the wrong services with Columbia County - medical services. We could care less about a jail.
