Boycott Metro State Student Government Elections

Metro State's Student Government Assembly (SGA) is hosting its Spring 2010 elections. There are several discrepancies in the election process: 1. The elections hurriedly began on April 9, 2010 instead of the scheduled date of April 12, 2010 2. Two candidates were kicked off the ballot because of a miscommunication between the election commissioner that resigned and the current election commissioner 3. The Election Commission opts to continue the elections despite these discrepancies 4. At the Senate Meeting on April 16, 2010, the President of SGA walked out of the meeting during the discussion regarding the elections instead of addressing the concerned students 5. Why should this concern you? Because SGA is funded by student fees and therefore, YOUR money is going into SGA for salaries, retreats, office renovation, new plasma television, unfair elections, and more
