It turns out that an online petition is not valid for government petitions. Please PM wanabe on the Seneca County Forums to get a hard copy.

Petition For A Public Referendum To Decide If The Town Of Seneca Falls Should Establish A Town Wide Police Force We hereby petition the Seneca Falls Town Board to hold a public (mandatory) referendum on whether to establish a Town-Wide Police Force effective January 1, 2012. This question (in the form of a referendum) should be placed before the Seneca Falls voters at the November 2, 2010 election and those voting results adhered to by the Seneca Falls Town Board when the village dissolves on December 31, 2011. By signing this petition, we confirm that we are registered and qualified voters of the Town of Seneca Falls, NY (which includes the village of Seneca Falls, NY)

We need to have a say in this. A town wide force is a huge expense and we deserve to vote on it instead of just having it forced on us.

Let us vote on it!! Why is the town board scared of what the people actually want?
