Every 98 seconds, another American experiences sexual assault. It is a growing dilemma all over the world, and while there have been many conversations about star civilians and their scandals, very few discuss sexual assault cases within our armed forces. There have been mishandling all over our militaries. I would like to propose more transparency about sexual assault in the military and more awareness. I would also like the support for H.R. 5940: Military Sexual Assault Transparency and Accountability Act which would require the Secretary of Defense to submit to Congress a report on victims in military criminal investigative organization reports, and for other purposes.
