None of the positions I have worked in the private sector have had an issue with my earrings. This is silly.

Seems sort of unfair I can’t wear just simple conservative earrings because I’m a male.. my girlfriend pierces and sells earrings for a living and I can’t let her do mine because of of a rule from 1930, almost a hundred years ago when the company was founded.

publix has a very discriminitory policy for dress code not allowing guys to have long hair at all even if put up and cant were earings not just publix but all buisnesses shouldnt base there uniform standards around gender at all its just not profesional seeing how publix is supposed to be so you should be able to have any pericing hairstyle color style anything u want but atleast i say if your gonna make a rule as stupid as this publix dress code make it apply to all genders instead of discriminating a mans charatcer because he has a certain said body part dangling between his legs

Just been told i can’t wear my little studs while the hiring manager had big sparkly earrings.. i might be a man but my earrings aren’t even noticeable. It’s just a grocery store, there is no need to be so strict
