Over 50% of the time, family members are the main source of information regarding sex education. However, students report having low level confidence when it comes to discussing sex education. It is important for students to have access to sex education so that they have accurate information that can help them later in their adult life.

Reaching this level of support feels heavy because it reminds me how many families are still waiting for schools to do the right thing. It is exhausting work to keep pushing against this resistance but seeing this momentum keeps me moving forward.

kids need real info not just silence. this is long overdue.
Totally agree. My niece is in high school and she says they barely cover anything useful. This needs to happen ASAP!

Although I live in Colorado, and this doesn't affect me, I believe that this problem is large enough that it encompasses the US and seriously needs to be addressed.
