Community Coach operates scheduled bus service including routes from Morris and Essex Counties (NJ) to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City -- including the #77 bus.
Thousands of regular weekday commuters rely on CC's scheduled service in order to get to work in New York City. Community Coach claims it provides its customers with efficient, safe, and courteous motorcoach service at competitive prices. Further, Community Coach claims it is all about customer satisfaction, and that their drivers prove demonstrate this commitment daily. (http://www.coachusa.com/info/community/ftr.aboutus.asp)
For many years, commuters could rely on reasonably consistent service including: adherence to published schedules, trained staff and maintained equipment -- many of the things highlighted on its own website.
In 2012, Community Coach's bus service to/from Essex County/New York City has collapsed in the eyes of its customers. For weeks on end, many of us have been late to work, stranded in NYC, crammed in over-crowded buses, and left wondering "will I get to my destination?" despite calls to CC or conversations with the PA dispatcher.
We, the undersigned, call on Community Coach to address serious service failings. Specifically, you need to address the lack of consistent/timely service according to published schedule, the lack of trained staff who know the routes, and poor maintenance of equipment.

Community Coach, your current service is not acceptable.
