Request Martin County to start the conversion of Crane Creek from Septic to Sewer.

By signing this petition you are expressing an interest in converting from Septic to Sewer. Once we have reached our signature goal we will present the signatures to the county so that they are made aware of the communities interest in public sewer.

Below is a comparison of available options and what would be involved for each type of system. There are several factors that determin what type af system will be implemented.

  • FIRST STEP - INFORM THE COUNTY OF OUR INTEREST
  • Second Step - County will evaluate the community and determine what system will be available.
  • Third Step - Residents will have a voice to move forward or decline for a later implementation (at some point there will not be an option, by switching to public sewer sooner, we may have access to grants that lower the costs of conversion.)
  • Fourth Step - Once the county and residents agree, implementation will start.

It is important to note, it is in the best interest of Crane Creek to start the process now for several reasons.

  1. Available grant funds to reduce the costs.
  2. Options on type of system that can be implemented.
  3. The ability to complete the project before we do any road repairs.
