The city has formally accepted the proposal from JONO Developments for the St. Patricks Alexandra site. We are monitoring the transition of the site to ensure the development schedule remains on track.
I am signing this petition because I believe JONO Developments will provide the best win-win opportunity for the local community, as well as the community of HRM.
We do not want our taxes to go up, and we do want re-densification in the urban core, and the sale of this site to JONO Developments is the right way to proceed with this objective.
The scale of this support has secured us a formal consultation with the planning committee. We are currently finalizing the briefing documents to present the fiscal benefits of the JONO proposal during those talks.

Keep our taxes down. This is clearly the best option for the city and we dont need more sitting vacant property.

YES!! Enough with the taxes going up for no reason. Sell it to someone who will actually do something with the land.
