As all of you would be knowing, students of Batch of 2012-2018 who failed in exams of Third and of Fourth Semester were given only one chance to retake the exam, whereas Rule no. 9 (pg.12) of PMDC's rule and regulations clearly states as,
"Any student who fails to clear first Professional in four chances availed or un-availed and has been expelled on that account shall not be eligible for continuation of medical/dental studies of the MBBS or BDS and shall not be eligible for fresh admission as a fresh candidate in either MBBS or BDS.
Any student who fails to clear 2nd Professional in four chances availed or un-availed and has been expelled on that account shall not be eligible for continuation of medical studies of the MBBS and shall not be eligible for fresh admission as a fresh candidate in either MBBS or BDS".
In light of PMDC's rules and regulations, JSMU and all other medical Institutions have to take four retakes, after which the candidate may be expelled or declared ineligible to continue their medical education. Any student who fails to clear 2nd Professional in four chances availed or un-availed and has been expelled on that account shall not be eligible for continuation of medical studies of the MBBS and shall not be eligible for fresh admission as a fresh candidate in either MBBS or BDS".
We the undersigned, request the administration of JSMU to give another chance to all those students who failed in the retakes of Semester 3 and Semester 4.
