SEC students objection to the new academic block system

We are facing many challenges because Skill-Based Courses and Foundation Courses are currently conducted in two half semesters. As these courses are completed within a very short period, students are under high academic pressure. Managing assignments, record work, laboratory sessions, skill assessments, internal tests, and exam preparation within this limited time becomes very difficult. This tight schedule leads to stress and makes it hard for students to clearly understand concepts and develop practical skills. Furthermore, the limited duration does not allow enough time for proper learning, practice, and revision. Due to this, students struggle to complete the syllabus before examinations, which affects their academic performance as well as their mental well-being. Hence, it is suggested that these courses be conducted over one full semester instead of two half semesters. This would help students balance their workload better, reduce stress, and achieve improved learning outcomes.

We don't want this changes

Short time period makes very stress and me and my friends can't able to withstand the continuous exams,we students are struggling much in this system,so please change this system..

I hate this term 1 term 2 method this os literally making us feel like robots

This academic rule must be avoided

We dont need this kind of new block system for comming semester. Because, of this system we will get mental stress, health issues because we don't have time to read for sem,cia,skill assignment, module lab, practice lab like this. We are requesting you to make the remaining semester as how the current semester work.

I strongly object to the newly introduced 8 week academic block system, as we are already following a regulation-based academic structure. The sudden implementation has caused confusion, increased academic pressure, and mental stress among students. The shortened duration affects proper understanding of subjects and effective learning. Hence, we do not want this 8 week system to be implemented in the current semester.

We are not comfortable with the changes in the academic system, so kindly take the necessary actions.

Need 1 term Scheme

This type of format will surely increase the academic pressure and will eventually lead to the down fall of the grades because of the short duration provided we are requesting to understand our problem and do the needful

We don't need this system. Please implement this Term structure to the upcoming batches with proper orientation and LET US REMAIN IN PEACE WITH THE CURRENT & SIMPLE SEMESTER STRUCTURE!!!!!

I strongly oppose this new education system as it places unnecessary pressure on students and reduces clarity. We will be confused by this system..so i don't want this system

Not interest for 45 day schedule.. please change it

Pacing challenges affecting comprehension and learning outcomes** "After CIA-1, there is significant pressure to cover remaining units quickly, which compromises our understanding of core concepts. The accelerated pace in the latter portion of each term makes it difficult to absorb complex topics and develop a strong conceptual foundation in the subject matter." **3. Assignment deadline management within compressed timeframes** "The condensed term schedule creates overlapping deadlines for assignments across multiple subjects. With limited time between topics being taught and assignment submissions, it becomes challenging to produce quality work while simultaneously preparing for continuous assessments." **4. Lack of adequate revision and consolidation period** "The minimal gap between end-semester examinations and the commencement of the next term leaves insufficient time for proper revision, self-study, and consolidation of learned concepts. This continuous cycle impacts our ability to retain knowledge and perform optimally in examinations." **5. Limited opportunity for co-curricular learning and skill development** "The intensive academic schedule leaves very little time for students to engage in additional skill-building activities, online courses, or practical applications of classroom learning. This affects our holistic development and ability to supplement our academic curriculum with industry-relevant skills."
