Think this is a terrible decision. People only have a certain amount of money to spend. If it's used on parking so they can have a walk in that lovely area. They'll not have enough funds to then spend in a cafe or shop. Your taking away people's livelihoods

walk my dog 5 times a week at Barry island between 10-12pm. often buying a snack and a drink. If i have to pay to park, no matter how much, i will not visit as much. we already pay enough in council tax and you have 2 paid car parks that generate a lot of revenue
