Absolutely wrong plan. Businesses need support or Barry island will not be attractive. Put more on to attract visitors.

I disagree with proposed parking fees, as residents should be able to enjoy local amenities for free. As for people coming in from the surrounding area, the same applies and those staying longer already have to pay anyway. There are too many things being charged for nowadays as it is.

I visit , quick sea dip . Chat and come home could not afford to do this if I have to pay . This saves my mental health being able to do this . The o my time I see people and get in the fresh air by the sea . It’s does wonders for people mental health and to su for this woukd have great impact on people’s health .

I am a year round sea swimmer. I have a chronic health condition. I live in Cardiff. I need to drive as I can’t walk far. This proposal would cost me far too much money and stop me swimming as much as I need to for my health. It would be of detriment to local businesses as visitors will go elsewhere.

How many business will close in Barry when customers can't park? Are they trying to kill the town?

How about doing a bit more to look after residents and local people instead of constant cash grabs. You’re driving people away from the area and affecting opportunities for small businesses.

I am strongly apossed to this as it will drive customers away from the town centre which in my view will distroy an already struggling shopping centre , will be a big mistake!!!!!
