When do they propose to charge for the air that we breathe? As it is they have already destroyed a once busy town centre,with no big name shops,not everyone is not able to go to Cardiff for shopping.

We are in a cost of living crisis and visiting the Island is one of the few things that families can do for free. I wonder how many of the councillors supporting this decision live in Barry?

Barry should stick to its routes and not profiteer from TV!

Stop charging on the streets of Barry.

Eliminating the 2 hours free parking will reduce visitor numbers significantly and combined with additional charges will reduce the amount remaining visitors are likely to spend, especially out of season. This foolhardy proposal will damage the local tourism based economy and the local businesses/employment significantly, in conditions that are already unfavourable and set to get worse.

This will stop people from coming into Barry, then loss of revenue......IMO

Parking for the people who live in the town should be free all year: we pay significant council tax for the area to be used and shouldn’t be charged

Build a multi storey in one of the main car parks would be better like Tenby has.

This will negatively impact businesses. You’ve already done so by changing all the spaces to disabled spaces so please don’t charge for the remaining
