We live here and never wanted the scheme we have. It was implemented poorly, signage is confusing and still isn’t effective(our own signs have made a much bigger difference) and it gives us no pleasure to see so many people having their day spoilt by a PCN. We love living here, but we don’t own it and we are happy to share !

With the Welsh government wasting money on unnecessary speed limit signs they wouldn't need to screw motorists for more money scrap the assembly its a waste of money.

Please don’t implement parking fees on the roadway around the island . I always walk my dog and enjoy a coffee at local businesses there . I’m a pensioner and on a fixed income . This is unfair to walkers , dog walkers pensioners families and children and will definately have an adverse impact on businesses ! Fine Welsh water for dumping sewerage and spoiling our beaches instead !!

There should be free parking for local residents, especially through the quieter months.

The Barry council are a complete joke

Massive concerns as it will drive people out of the area and effect small businesses

You have enough car parking spaces why on street parking prices give something back instead of always taking

On street parking is a step too far for local people.

Appalled by the possibility of parking charges in this area. Local people pay more than enough in council tax without this which will undoubtedly impact on businesses.

I disagree with the car parking charges as it costs a lot to install of tax payers money and will detract people visiting and affect the local trade

Having nowhere free to park on the island is a step too far.

Shameful especially for businesses trying to make it through hard times!
