Scrap proposed on Street parking charges at Barry Island.

This will have a very negative impact on local businesses and affect visitors to the island. It should be scrapped

This will kill the Island trade. It's bad enough now with the charges.

We need to be attracting visitors not putting them off! Shame on you!

We will lose trade. Also I visit people’s houses as part of my job, what happens then ?

This is our town we pay enough in council tax every year so should be able to travel about it without paying more to this money grabbing council. Where is all the money going from all the extra housing we now have?

Not fair on the locals charge seasonly if you have to ! Where can locals take there dogs for walks in Winter when you are proposing charges

Local businesses need protection all year round from locals - not just visitors to the town in summertime. Why should we pay to park in our own town?Disgraceful. We already pay enough council tax. Barry people unite.! Be more Nessa!

More financial pressure on families wanting to enjoy the outdoors together. Likely a negative impact on businesses also.

This will damage the heart of the Barry community and effect business . There are plenty of car parks for people who want long stays .. this is not the way to promote the community and boost the economy

The Council will also penalise people using the church on Breaksea Drive! Car drivers will use our residential side streets to avoid parking fees.

This is a disgrace. I use the car park regularly to go to the shops on Holton Road! The businesses will no doubt close now too!!! What does Barry actually do for us?? Where is Cinema by the Sea?? Etc etc etc. This new government is making me feel suicidal ... it's just take take take and making people so miserable

The proposal should be scrapped,as should car park charges planned for the Knap.

We're local pensioners and normally visit Barry Island two or 3 times per week all year round, the proposed parking charges would definitely make this unaffordable for us.

I am very passionate about the Island traders..they are keeping our lovely Barry Island an attractive place for us locals to visit and enjoy our coast. By all means charge visitors if you must. Perhaps issue free parking vouchers to all residents of the Vale who frequent the Island.
