Need to think of the people who live and contribute to the Barry Area Local authorities want to make life difficult for us all

This will block up the local side streets, as it did during COVID, as people seek free parking.

You will kill the local economy

These charges will stop people visiting the island, impacting local businesses.

This would not be good for the island. There are two large car parks that visitors can use. The disabled bays are well used by people who need the benefits of visiting such an idyllic place. Good for their mental health and wellbeing.

Locals should not have to pay for parking

The council have killed a great place to walk & visit more charges again. Shame they can’t start thinking outside the box and do something positive for the business on the island

Think it’s disgusting to charge the public to visit our own beaches. We pay enough road and council tax

This is so unfair on small businesses . Also elderly who go to the island meet people for there social and mental wellbeing

Will be parking in residential side streets on Asda area development

We won't be able to park anywhere for free soon.

This is disgusting , there are two car parks for visitors, why penalise locals who use the area all year round.

It’s just ridiculous- not everyone could afford the annual charge on top of everything else.
