Not only is this proposed parking charge a complete disregard to residents of Barry Island. This is a disgrace to limit businesses, staff, customers to use facilities at Barry Island .

Absolutely disgusting the council constantly charging us for everything and we get nothing back… Keep our children fit and healthy how can we do that with all the outdoor space charging you stupid amount of money?

I understand making visitors pay a fee, but not the people of Barry. This should be a privilege for them to use our town at no cost.

I regularly drive to Barry Island to walk with my dog. I park in the 2 hour zone which allows me to walk and stop for tea and cake in one of the local businesses, I would not do this on a regular basis if I had to pay for parking.

This town is dying as it is, nothing in the town centre, the beach is one of the only things worth coming to Barry for. Charging people for parking will just kill off the beach too. Does this council want to see this town be derelict like most towns are now???? Absolutely ridiculous. You are driving people out
