These chargers are disgusting! The Island beach is one of the few places I can access as a disabled mother with my children. Now if family or friends want to join us if will cost them dearly!

Fully agree the council will never stop with a extra income, no matter the damage it does to the businesses paying to be there.

Please do not continue with this bill, many people travel to visit the area for many reasons including mental health, this will affect many.

I object to the proposed on street parking proposal at Barry Island being pushed through without public scrutiny. The reputation of this Labour Council is very poor and these types of actions are making you even more unpopular and undemocratic. Parking charges will mean I will go to the area less and spend less money when I'm there. Local businesses will be badly hit. This is no way to encourage tourists or locals using the area for walking, days out etc. I get you need to raise money but this is not the way to do it particularly as it is something the labour members have protested against in the past.

Have family living on Redbrink Crescent and it is a nightmare to visit especially for social gatherings, have to arrange alternative transport, taxis, due to parking restrictions. They have two cars so need both permits. This also have a massive affect on locals who would regularly go over for an hour or two. Have friends do who run local businesses and they will.be massively affected by this. Have two hours free in all carparks with the option to pay for extra time if staying longer.

Absolutely irresponsible to charge local folk that use the cafes and other businesses especially during winter months when the tourists leave town.

Totally agree this charge is holly out of order.Businesses have been clobbered enough by the government budget. This charge will Just rub salt in the wounds of already struggling Island business.

There is already a large parking area on the island, so for people who want to make a quick visit will probably go somewhere else if there is a charge. Love having coffee on the island and the Knap

This is a disgusting charge on local residents who keep the island alive when tourists aren't around!

This is disgraceful. Discrimination against Barry Elderly and young Parent's. The residents of Barry are being doubly penalised. This scheme will redirect visitors cars to the Streets of Ffordd Y Dociau and adjacent Streets.

Do not agree with charging to park, free parking is already limited.
