More money to waste , look at the bus station by the dock office's

This will have a detrimental effect on the businesses on the island and the residents of Barry.

Absolutely disgusted by the council decision to charge extortionate parking fees for local beauty site.

I am a resident of Barry and regularly park in many of the proposed places. I live in an area where there is minimal regular and accessible public transport which even then is expensive when used regularly so a car is necessary. I feel it would be penalising car users and families in particular who visit the many beautiful areas we have and necessary places we need to go if these charges are put into place. We all pay council tax which goes up year on year and road tax which does the same. It is unfair to enforce another stealth tax when the cost of living has increased so significantly. If they were imposed I would visit many of these places far less frequently which would be a shame for my family and for the business' we frequent as I imagine we will not be the only ones.

Everyone already pays to much with this council in place greed feeds greed.

You already have car parks where you pay. Local, council tax paying people use the roads at Barry Island. You're bleeding us dry.

I am against new proposed parking charges on Barry Island.

I oppose the street parking charge that is due to come into place. This charge will have negative financial impact on the local business and deter visitors from coming to the Island. Money spent on parking rates as high as £10 will mean less money being spent locally. I often visit Barry Island from the Caerphilly area and so the cost of fuel as well as the cost of on street parking would most definitely be a deterrent in the current economical situation we’re all facing.

This will ruin the economy of Barry Island and Barry. It also makes it very costly for residents to visit the ISLAND.

Absolute daylight robbery. Don’t know what our council taxes are going on already

This will have a massive negative impact on local business, as I for one will not pay to park on the street as I pay enough council tax to VoG already. Our weekly trip to the Island for breakfast will cease and we'll have to look elsewhere.
